Welcome to Red Lake Andalusians

Red Lake Andalusians has been raising and training Andalusian and Azteca horses in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia for twenty years. Bred for temperament, conformation and movement, our horses are excelling in all disciplines, including dressage, where one young gelding has achieved his Silver Medal and is now showing Intermediaire
   Our foals are handled from birth with much love, gentleness and firmness. They are led on the trails surrounding the farm from an early age and taught about creeks, woods, crossing roads, and indeed, automobiles.

   We offer a wide variety of bloodlines from which to choose and our broodmares are among the finest in this country, consisting of both grays and bays. Our main breeding stallion, Teonado, is a bay son by Teodoro. He is 15.2h with movement, conformation and temperament extraordinare' which he passes along to his offspring.

   We always have young stock to sell, and once in awhile an older horse becomes available. Visitors are always welcome.
